Simple Reaction Time

A stimulus appears on the screen, and the testee taps a response button as quickly as possible on seeing the stimulus. Three presentation modes are available:

S : Stimulus is an incrementing number of milliseconds (four digits) since the initial appearance of the stimulus (0000). The final reaction time is displayed when the testee responds

H : Stimulus is a set of four asterisks. The final reaction time is displayed when the testee responds

N : Stimulus is a set of four asterisks. No feedback of results is given

We record the mean reaction times as well as false starts (response before the stimulus appears)

This test can be run on a tablet or on a Java-enabled mobile phone.
